Is this website affiliated with official bodies?

No. alrastan.com is an independent, unofficial site about the history, heritage and present of the city of Rastan, and is not affiliated with any government or political body. Our mission is purely documentary and cultural.

When will I get a reply to my message?

We acknowledge every message within a few days, and a detailed reply usually arrives within seven days at most. Messages that include sources or photos for publication may take longer to review.

Do you publish everything sent to you?

No, every item is reviewed for historical accuracy, respect for privacy and suitability for the site's cultural character. What is published carries its author's name (if they wish) or remains anonymous on request.
